Staying home might be necessary if you live in a crowded place like Seattle. But in rural America, out in the country there is no reason not to go outside. We ran our 7 miles outside this morning, then I fished outside and then my wife and I played tennis outside. We were not near others. I hope people realize that the point is avoiding close contact with other people, it has nothing to do with being inside. It’s just unfortunate so many people in crowded cities are getting sick, but that’s always been one of the characteristics of city life, people packed in tight spaces are a perfect breeding ground for pestilence.
