Have you ever broken the law?
Everyone has broken the law at some point whether intentionally or unintentionally. The severity of the crimes committed reaches from jaywalking to stealing a candy bar to drinking underage…… to serving 10 years in prison for the accidental death of your friend? Bill from Wealth Well Done found himself in exactly that position. He kept a positive attitude and strove for greatness through the whole ordeal. Now, 5 years out of prison, he’s amassed a net worth north of $250k with no plans to slow down any time soon.
Bill is one of the most inspirational people we know. You’ll be blown away!

Key takeaways from our chat with
1 – Bad decisions will eventually catch up to you
Bill had a decade of bad decisions. He managed to avoid consequences for 10 years…. until one little bad decision tipped the scales and it all came crashing down on him.
Whether you realize it, every decision you make has the potential to be amazing or devastating. Make sure you’re making good choices as much as you possibly can!
2 – You can make it through ANYTHING
Humans are a remarkably resilient species. People have survived being lost in the wilderness and other horrific accidents.
You never know what you’re capable of until you’re in a situation you never thought you’d be in. Bill didn’t plan on his friend dying and him going to prison, yet he made it through. He made it through 10 years in prison and came out stronger on the other side.
3 – Writing gave Bill something to work towards
He could’ve wasted his time away behind bars. Playing cards with the wrong crowd, lifting weights, or watching TV could’ve taken up his time. Instead, he applied himself. He got a mentor and worked to improve his writing skills. He read books in the library and kept his nose clean. He didn’t know what he was going to do after prison, but his solid writing skills gave him the confidence to take risks.
4 – You never know how close you are to a breakthrough
Life isn’t like climbing a mountain. You don’t get an altimeter and a clear view of the summit of your goals.
You could hit it tomorrow. You’ll never know if you don’t keep trying your best.
Jordan Peele quit writing a script 20 times. The important part was starting to write 21 times. He wouldn’t have an Oscar right now if he had quit writing the script. Your award could be just out of reach. Don’t give up on your goals!
